Job summary

GenScript USA Inc. is seeking a biology-focused scientist to join our operations team. You will perform daily experimental tasks across oligo, PCR, ligation, sequencing, QC, and reagent preparation, ensuring timely completion and data accuracy.

You will record results, monitor equipment, maintain clean workspaces, follow safety guidelines, and support ongoing optimization and innovation projects within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Solid foundation in molecular biology and cell biology.
• Strong background in experimental operation and record-keeping.
• Familiar with conventional genetic engineering techniques (PCR, cloning, CRISPR).

Responsibilities

• Perform daily experimental tasks across listed techniques (Oligo/PCR/Ligation/Sequencing/QC).
• Operate and maintain experimental equipment per SOPs.
• Record all data accurately and ensure proper handover of incomplete work.
• Monitor equipment status and report abnormalities to supervisor.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work environment and contribute to 5S improvements.
