Job summary

Arup is seeking a BIM Technician to join our Building Services Modelling team in Singapore. You will develop and coordinate high-quality BIM models, data and project documentation, supporting design and construction phases with Revit MEP expertise.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Southeast Asia, promote BIM standards and digital workflows, and help resolve clashes while ensuring alignment with CDE protocols and project requirements.

Qualifications

• Recognised qualification in Engineering, Design, Drafting or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of BIM modelling or drafting experience within a consulting engineering or contractor environment.
• Strong proficiency in Revit MEP and understanding of multidisciplinary BIM coordination.
• Experience using BIM and coordination platforms such as Navisworks, Solibri, Clarity, Autodesk Forma, Trimble Connect and BCF collaboration tools.
• Knowledge of BIM standards, protocols and Common Data Environment (CDE) workflows.
• BIM methodologies considered advantageous.
• Strong communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate high-quality Building Information Modelling (BIM) models, data and project documentation for Building Services projects.
• Undertake drawing production, modelling and multidisciplinary coordination activities during design and construction phases.
• Facilitate virtual design reviews, identify coordination issues within BIM models and resolve clashes and design conflicts.
• Support and provide Revit technical expertise to modellers and engineers within the VDE.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with CDE standards and project BIM protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Singapore and Southeast Asia to support project delivery.
• Promote BIM best practices, digital workflows and emerging technologies within the team.
