Job summary

Arup Singapore Pte Ltd is recruiting a BIM Technician to deliver high-quality BIM models and documentation for Building Services projects. You will model, coordinate across disciplines and support design through construction, ensuring clash-free outputs.

You will provide Revit MEP expertise, participate in virtual design reviews and promote BIM best practices within a collaborative Southeast Asia team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of BIM modelling or drafting experience in a consulting engineering or contractor environment.
• Strong proficiency in Revit MEP and multidisciplinary BIM coordination.
• Experience with Navisworks, Solibri, Clarity, Autodesk Forma, Trimble Connect and BCF tools.
• Knowledge of BIM standards, protocols and CDE workflows; BIM methodologies are a plus.
• Strong communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills; ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate high-quality BIM models, data and project documentation for Building Services projects.
• Produce drawings, modelling and multidisciplinary coordination during design and construction phases.
• Facilitate virtual design reviews and resolve clashes and design conflicts.
• Provide Revit technical expertise to modellers and engineers in the VDE.
• Monitor compliance with CDE standards and BIM project protocols.
• Collaborate with teams across Singapore and Southeast Asia to support delivery.
• Promote BIM best practices and digital workflows within the team.

As a BIM Technician, we're looking for a multi-disciplinary Building Services Modeller who will assist in delivering high quality Building Information Modelling (BIM) models, data and documentation as a direct output of the model. They will provide Revit Technical Management Skills relating to the Modelling team, both Modellers and Engineers working in the Virtual Design Environment.

The Opportunity

• Develop and coordinate high-quality Building Information Modelling (BIM) models, data and project documentation for Building Services projects.
• Undertake drawing production, modelling and multidisciplinary coordination activities during both design and construction phases of projects.
• Facilitate virtual design reviews, identify coordination issues within BIM models and work collaboratively to resolve clashes and design conflicts.
• Support and provide Revit technical expertise to both modellers and engineers working within the virtual design environment.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with Common Data Environment (CDE) standards and project BIM protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Singapore and the wider Southeast Asia region to support project delivery through work-sharing initiatives.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by promoting BIM best practices, digital workflows and emerging technologies within the team

Is this role right for you?

• Recognised qualification in Engineering, Design, Drafting or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of BIM modelling or drafting experience within a consulting engineering or contractor environment.
• Strong proficiency in Revit MEP and a good understanding of multidisciplinary BIM coordination.
• Experience using BIM and coordination platforms such as Navisworks, Solibri, Clarity, Autodesk Forma, Trimble Connect and BCF collaboration tools.
• Good understanding of building projects and the coordination requirements between multiple disciplines within a BIM environment.
• Knowledge of BIM standards, protocols and Common Data Environment (CDE) workflows, with exposure to open

• Strong communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across technical and non-technical teams
