Job summary

A concrete manufacturing company based in Singapore is seeking a skilled individual to produce precast shop drawings and develop 3D models using BIM software. The ideal candidate will possess a diploma in civil structural engineering, with proficiency in Tekla and AutoCAD, and strong communication skills in English. Responsibilities include generating shop drawings, coordinating with teams, and ensuring accuracy in designs. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to understand architectural and structural drawings.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ITE graduate in civil structural engineering required.
• Proficient in Tekla software for modeling.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Strong English communication and written skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce precast shop drawings for HDB projects.
• Utilize BIM software to develop 3D models of precast elements.
• Understand architectural and engineering drawings.
• Raise RFIs for discrepancies found in consultant drawings.
• Update shop drawings based on feedback.
• Issue shop drawings to production team.
• Coordinate with others to ensure drawing accuracy.
• Develop standardized models for precast components.

Job description

Roles and Responsibilities:-

• Responsible in producing precast shop drawing on component for HDB projects.
• Preferably familiar with utilizing BIM software (e.g Revit, Tekla Structures) to develop detailed 3D models of precast concrete elements, including walls, beams, columns, slabs, and connections, based on architectural and engineering drawings.
• To understand architect and structural drawings and generate model/shop drawings for precast manufacturing and fabrication
• Raise RFI when discrepancies are found in consultant drawings
• Make revisions and update shop drawing based on comments and feedback
• Issue shop drawing to production team
• Coordinate with other drafter/modeller to ensure the model/shop drawing are correct
• Develop standardized models for precast components

Qualifications:-

• Diploma/ITE graduate in civil structural engineering
• Well verse in Tekla software for modelling purposes
• Well verse in AutoCAD
• Well verse in English (Communication & Written)
