Job summary

Addcel Engineering Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced BIM Engineer to lead a team of BIM Engineers and Modelers, implementing company BIM standards and execution plans across projects in Singapore.

The role emphasizes strong coordination of MEP models and hands-on Revit modeling when required. You will oversee clash detection using Navisworks, review BIM deliverables and provide technical guidance to project teams, ensuring on-time, high-quality outputs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
• 8–10 years of BIM modeling experience for MEP systems.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit (MEP) and AutoCAD 2D; Navisworks for clash detection.

Responsibilities

• Implement BIM standards, workflow and execution plans across projects.
• Lead, train and mentor BIM Engineers and Modelers to ensure on-time, high-quality deliverables.
• Oversee and coordinate MEP BIM models with other disciplines.
• Conduct clash detection and manage coordination with Navisworks.
• Review and audit BIM models for project requirements and standards.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to project teams.
• Step in for hands-on Revit modeling when required.
• Support BIM deliverables including shop drawings, as-built models and reports.
• Manage model data and version control in a Common Data Environment (e.g., BIM 360).
• Participate in coordination meetings and liaise with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement company wide BIM standards, workflow and BIM Execution plan and protocols, and best practices across all assigned projects.
• Lead, manage, train and mentor BIM Engineers and Modelers to ensure on time and high-quality deliverables.
• Oversee and coordinate MEP BIM models with other disciplines.
• Conduct clash detection and manage coordination processes using tools such as Navisworks.
• Review and audit BIM models to ensure compliance with project requirements and company standards.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to project teams.
• Step in to perform hands‑on Revit modeling to ensure timely BIM delivery when required.
• Support the preparation of BIM deliverables, including shop drawings, as-built models, and reports.
• Manage model data, file structures, and version control within a Common Data Environment (e.g., BIM 360).
• Participate in coordination meetings and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in BIM modeling for MEP systems.
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit (MEP) and Autocad 2D is essential.
• Experience with Navisworks for clash detection and coordination.
• Good understanding of MEP design principles and construction workflows.
