Job summary

UG M&E PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced BIM Coordinator to lead the development, implementation, and enforcement of BIM standards across all project deliverables in Singapore.

You will coordinate BIM workflows among disciplines and manage the central BIM model for data integrity and version control. You will conduct clash detection with Navisworks Manage, prepare clash reports, ensure BEP compliance, and lead BIM/VDC coordination meetings with consultants, contractors, and engineers.

Qualifications

• Degree or technical diploma in a building discipline.
• Certifications in Revit MEP and BIM/VDC related programs.
• Minimum 5 years in BIM and 5 years in construction.
• Proficient in BIM tools and coordination workflows.
• Strong communication and collaboration across multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist BIM Manager with BIM/IDDEP standards, workflows and processes.
• Develop, manage, and maintain federated BIM models with version control.
• Conduct clash detection and prepare clash reports.
• Ensure BEP compliance, naming conventions, file structures and submission requirements.
• Lead BIM/VDC meetings with consultants, contractors, engineers and other stakeholders.
• Prepare, review, update, and submit BIM models, construction/shop drawings, clash reports, asset data, visualizations, and other required deliverables according to the project schedule.
• Guide, mentor, coordinate BIM Modellers and support the design and engineering teams in delivering coordinated and buildable designs.
• Monitor BIM progress, submission status, resource and software requirements, and highlight potential issues or delays.

About the role

The role involves managing and coordinating project BIM standards development, implementation, and enforcement on all related BIM deliverables, coordinating BIM workflows and processes across all project disciplines, and managing the central BIM model to ensure version control and data integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Assist BIM Manager and for the implement BIM/IDDEP requirements, standards, workflows, and processes for the assigned project.
• Develop, manage, and maintain federated BIM models, ensuring model integrity, version control, and coordination across all disciplines.
• Conduct clash detection using Navisworks Manage, coordinate resolutions, and prepare clash reports and presentations.
• Ensure compliance with the BIM Execution Plan (BEP), project standards, naming conventions, file structures, and submission requirements.
• Lead and attend BIM/VDC and project coordination meetings with consultants, contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve coordination issues.
• Prepare, review, update, and submit BIM models, construction/shop drawings, clash reports, asset data, visualizations, and other required deliverables according to the project schedule.
• Guide, mentor, assign, and coordinate BIM Modellers and support the design and engineering teams in delivering coordinated and buildable designs.
• Monitor BIM progress, submission status, resource and software requirements, and highlight potential issues or delays.
• Manage the Common Data Environment (CDE), file exchange systems, and project information to ensure proper access, coordination, and data integrity.
• Support the development of BIM models, trade families, and project-specific content, while ensuring the proper use of BIM authoring and coordination tools.
• Coordinate with consultants and main contractors on design, scheduling, material requisitions, procurement, buildability, and overall project compliance.

About you

• Degree or Technical Diploma holder in Architectural, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil or Building
• Certificate for Revit MEP course with 3-5 years' experience in BIM
• Certificate in Specialist Diploma in BIM or related
• Certificate in Specialist Diploma in VDC or related
• Certificate for BIM Management
• Certificate or Knowledge in Navisworks
• At least 5 years' experience in BIM
• At least 5 years' work experience in Construction
• Proficiency in BIM and VDC software (e.g. Revit, Navisworks, ACC, etc.) and understanding of multidisciplinary design and construction principles
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with multi-disciplinary teams
