Job summary

KWAN YONG CONSTRUCTION PTE LTD invites a BIM Coordinator to join our Singapore projects. You will support the Senior BIM Coordinator during mobilisation, then lead day-to-day BIM coordination as the project runs, across MOHH, HDB, and GPE portfolios.

Applicants should have 3–5 years in BIM coordination on building projects, with Revit/Navisworks proficiency and BIM submission knowledge. Certification and ISO19650 familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in a building-related discipline.
• 3–5 years BIM coordination on building projects.
• Certification in Model Authoring / BIM Software Courses.
• DDM accreditation Tier 3.
• Knowledge of ISO 19650 and BCA BIM submission.
• Able to grow into project lead role.
• Experience with C&S / structural preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the Senior BIM Coordinator during mobilisation and setup.
• Progress to lead day-to-day BIM coordinating.
• Run discipline coordination (AR/CS/MEP), clash detection, QA.
• Maintain CDE, model version control, issue tracking.
• Produce coordinated deliverables: models, drawings, quantities.
• Support DfMA / PPVC / precast coordination.
• Support BCA / CORENET X submissions under guidance.
• Assist tender/bid prep with model-based visualisations and take-offs.
• Liaise with offshore modellers, discipline teams, and site.

About the Role

You will join projects at kick-off, initially supporting the Senior BIM Coordinator / Project BIM Manager through setup and mobilisation, and subsequently taking over as the project's day-to-day BIM lead once the project is running. This is a role for someone ready to grow into project leadership across our MOHH, HDB, and GPE portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Senior BIM Coordinator / BIM Manager during project mobilisation - BEP setup, CDE configuration, and rollout of templates and standards.
• Progress to lead the project's day-to-day BIM coordination after kick-off.
• Run discipline coordination (AR / CS / MEP), clash detection and resolution, and model QA against project standards.
• Maintain the CDE, model version control, and issue tracking.
• Produce coordinated deliverables - regulatory submission models, shop/coordination drawings, and quantities.
• Support DfMA / PPVC / precast coordination.
• Support BCA / CORENET X submissions under senior guidance, progressing towards ownership.
• Support tender and bid preparation and other ad hoc proposals when required, including model-based visualisations, quantity take-offs, and coordination inputs.
• Liaise with offshore BIM modellers, discipline teams, and site.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in C&S, Architecture, M&E, or Building-related discipline.
• 3-5 years of BIM coordination experience on building projects.
• Certification in Model Authoring/ BIM Software Certification Courses
• Digital Delivery Management ( DDM ) accreditation Tier 3
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit and Navisworks; working knowledge of ACC / BIM 360, AutoCAD; etc. or equivalent
• Working knowledge of ISO 19650 and BCA BIM submission requirements.
• Self-driven, with the coordination and communication skills to grow into a project lead role.
• All disciplines welcome; C&S / structural background preferred (current team gap).
