Job summary

BIMXITY PTE. LTD. seeks an Information/BIM Manager to lead information management across project lifecycles in Singapore and SEA. You will drive BIM execution, EIR review, and coordination among design, bid, and delivery teams to meet client requirements.

You will develop master information plans, define delivery strategies for multi-disciplinary projects, and ensure compliance with BIM standards. Strong leadership and client interfacing are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Degree level in Architecture, Civil Engineering or related field.
• Understanding of data, information management and BIM agendas in Singapore and related standards.
• Willingness to challenge conventions with clients to improve delivery.
• Demonstrated leadership in BIM and Information Management systems and delivery.
• Passion and drive to place Information Management at the center of integrated delivery.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with client interfaces.
• Knowledge of ISO 19650 standards and processes.
• Minimum 5 years in multi-disciplinary BIM projects in Singapore/SEA with leadership roles.
• Expert BIM tools knowledge: Revit, Civil 3D; expert federation/coordination: Navisworks, VRcollab, Revizto, BIMTrack.
• Expert knowledge of CDEs such as BIM360; basic data viz with PowerBI/Tableau.
• Desirable: BIM applications for sequencing, quantity takeoffs, VR, digital twin, asset management; Dynamo knowledge desirable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure information produced, stored, shared, and exploited using current BIM tech.
• Lead a team implementing ISO 19650 across project lifecycles.
• Review EIRs and fulfill Project Information Manager responsibilities.
• Work with parties to understand Information Requirements, milestones and standards.
• Establish Pre-Appointment BIM Execution Plan with capability assessments.
• Contribute to project risk registers and tender responses.
• Develop BIM Execution Plan and Master Information Delivery Plan with teams.
• Define delivery strategy for complex projects including information exchange and onboarding.
• Coordinate with client reps to align delivery strategy with requirements.
• Support mobilization, configure CDE and design delivery tools for delivering client requirements.
• Guide information delivery teams to meet requirements and audit activities.
• Advise on BIM execution plan compliance and information management standards.
• Ensure BIM models follow project information standards and workflows.
• Update BIM Execution Plan as the project evolves.
• Support project teams in CDE utilization.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• As an Information / BIM Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our client's digital content is produced, stored, shared, and exploited using the latest technologies and practices.
• Establish and lead a team to undertake the functions of effective information management as identified in ISO 19650 throughout our projects' lifecycles, where the client is either the Lead Appointed Party or an Appointed Party.
• Review Client Information Requirements (EIRs) and perform the role and responsibilities of the Project Information Manager as identified in ISO 19650
• Work with the appointing parties to understand the Project's: Information Requirements; Delivery Milestones; Information Standards; Production methods and procedures; reference information and shared resources; and Information Management protocol.
• Work with our Design and Bid Teams to establish the Pre-Appointment BIM Execution Plan including capability assessments and mobilization plans
• Contribute to the project risk register and tender response.
• Develop the BIM execution plan and define the Master Information Delivery Plan in collaboration with the Design and Project Management Teams.
• Define delivery strategy for complex multi-disciplinary projects as part of the BIM Execution Plan:
• Information Exchange Processes
• Onboarding strategy for delivery team members
• Liaise with client representatives to articulate delivery strategy and ensure alignment with client requirements. Advise upon any queries raised by client BIM representatives in conjunction with the project delivery team.
• Support the mobilization process, working with tools, SMEs, and technical leadership to configure elements such as the CDE and design delivery tools, to enable the delivery of the Appointing Parties' requirements.
• Use the information management team to guide, support, and audit task teams in the delivery of their Task Information Delivery Plans, to meet the Appointing Parties Requirements.
• Provide detailed advice and support to our teams to ensure that project delivery is in compliance with the BIM Execution plan and client requirements:
• Ensure BIM models are set up according to Project Information Standards
• Ensure workflows and processes outlined are followed for the creation, review, sharing, and coordination of information
• Update the BIM Execution Plan as required over the project lifecycle
• Support project team in the utilization of CDE

Desired Skills and Experience

• Degree level or equivalent qualification in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Structural, or other disciplines relevant to the AEC Industry
• A thorough understanding of the data, information management, BIM agendas within Singapore, and the standards and documents for implementation in design and construction projects.
• A willingness to challenge conventions both internally and with our clients with the aim of delivering our projects much more effectively.
• This role requires candidates able to demonstrate leadership in the delivery of BIM and Information Management systems and processes, with a proven ability to engage and drive both learning and delivery
• A real passion and drive to make Information Management the center of our integrated delivery approach. To do this you'll need to have a wide range of positive behaviors including being collaborative, open, empathetic, enthusiastic, resilient, tenacious, hardworking, and delivery-orientated.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience in interfacing with clients and BIM Experts from international organizations.
• Knowledge of Standards and Processes defined in ISO 19650
• Minimum 5 years experience in the delivery of multi-disciplinary BIM projects in Singapore and SEA and/or overseas with practical experience in the role of BIM Lead, BIM Co-ordinator, or BIM Manager
• Expert knowledge of BIM authoring tools such as Revit, Civil 3D, etc in the delivery of multi-disciplinary projects
• Expert knowledge of BIM federation and co-ordination platforms such as Navisworks, VRcollab, Revizto, BIMTrack
• Expert knowledge of CDEs such as BIM360
• Basic knowledge of data visualization platforms such as PowerBI, Tableau
• Knowledge of BIM applications for uses such as construction sequencing, quantity takeoffs, virtual reality, digital twin, and asset management is desirable but not mandatory
• Knowledge of automation tools such as Dynamo is desirable but not mandatory.
