Job summary

Expeditors is seeking a Transportation Coordinator to support a high-tech customer onsite in Singapore. You will manage day-to-day transportation operations, track and trace shipments, and coordinate with carriers, suppliers and warehouses to ensure on-time delivery and execution of projects.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 5 years in transportation/logistics, plus strong MS Office skills and the ability to lead meetings with customers and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required in relevant field.
• 5 years of transportation and logistics experience.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint).
• Demonstrated knowledge of international transportation.
• Dynamic personality; comfortable speaking in public and leading meetings.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities and create project plans.
• Take on tasks and ensure completion.
• Manage workload and workflow.
• Escalate issues promptly.
• Lead/participate in cross-team meetings with stakeholders.
• Coordinate with manufacturers, suppliers and carriers.
• Collaborate with warehouses and service providers to manage exceptions and drive operations.
• Oversee overs/shorts/delays per escalation protocols.
• Ensure on-time freight delivery with carriers.
