Job summary

StepStone Group seeks an Associate/Senior Associate to join the Southeast Asia Business Development team in Singapore. You will support client relationships, manage proposals, and assist marketing efforts, working closely with senior BD professionals to engage with a diverse set of clients and investment strategies.

The role emphasizes strong communication, analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks independently.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in private markets.
• Strong client-facing skills and a professional demeanor.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin, with additional Southeast Asian languages as a plus.
• Excellent analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Great time management and multitasking abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the BD team in managing relationships with clients and prospects.
• Help with follow-ups on product pitches and due diligence processes.
• Coordinate the RFP process with various teams.
• Assist in planning marketing events and client roadshows.
• Create and maintain presentations for internal and external meetings.
• Log BD activities and prepare reports for management.
• Work on strategic projects and initiatives as needed.
• For top performers, engage in investor outreach and fundraising.
