Job summary

ONE HR PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on Bartender cum Service Team Leader in Singapore to support daily restaurant operations. The role combines bartending with supervising the service team to ensure a welcoming and efficient dining experience.

Qualifications

Job description

We are looking for a hands-on and service-oriented Bartender cum Service Team Leader to support the daily operations of our client's restaurant. This role combines bartending responsibilities with supervising and guiding the service team to deliver a welcoming and efficient dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wines, beers and other drinks.
• Maintain the bar area, beverage stocks, glassware and equipment in a clean and organised condition.
• Monitor beverage inventory and assist with stock replenishment and stock control.
• Lead and support the service team during daily operations and busy service periods.
• Coordinate staff deployment and ensure smooth communication between the service, bar and kitchen teams.
• Welcome guests, take orders, serve food and beverages, and attend to customer requests promptly.
• Handle customer feedback and service issues professionally, escalating matters to management where necessary.
• Ensure service standards, hygiene, cleanliness and workplace procedures are consistently followed.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, cashiering and other operational responsibilities as required.
• Provide guidance and on-the-job training to new or junior service team members.

Key Requirements

• Previous experience in bartending, restaurant service or a similar F&B role is preferred.
• Supervisory or team-leading experience will be an advantage.
• Good knowledge of beverages, basic cocktails, wines and bar operations.
• Customer-focused with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to lead by example and work effectively as part of a team.
• Responsible, organised and able to handle a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Willing and able to perform both bartending and restaurant service duties.
