• Take drink orders from guests or servers accurately and efficiently.
• Check guest IDs to verify legal drinking age.
• Maintain knowledge of cocktails, wines, beers, and spirits, and recommend pairings.
• Manage cash and card transactions, and reconcile the bar till at end of shift.
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and intervene responsibly to prevent overservice.
• Keep the bar area clean, organized, and fully stocked.
• Manage bar inventory, track stock levels, and place orders as needed.
• Set up and break down the bar before/after service.
• Ensure compliance with alcohol licensing laws and health/safety regulations.
• Create an engaging, friendly atmosphere for guests.
