Job summary

The Garcha Group is hiring for a hospitality-focused bartender role across its Singapore hotels. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional service at the bar, craft cocktails, and guide guests through the cocktail catalogue with knowledge of garnishes and preparation methods.

Requirements include 2-3 years in hospitality, professional certification, and excellent English communication. Flexibility to work at multiple Garcha Group properties is expected.

Qualifications

• Proficient in spoken and written English.
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant working experience in the hospitality industry.
• Professional Certificate/NITEC or equivalent qualification.
• Knowledge of cocktails and bar catalogue is beneficial.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Ensuring Exceptional Customer Service

• Sets service expectations for all guests internally and externally.
• Takes ownership of a guest complaint/problem until it is resolved or it has been addressed by the appropriate manager or employee.
• Verifies all F&B functions are up to standard and exceed guest's expectations.
• Consistently offer professional, pro-active and engaging service to all guests’ members and associates
• Assist guests regarding all items and Cocktail Bar Catalogue, in an informative and helpful manner
• Comprehensive knowledge of all Catalogue and Food Menu items, garnishes, contents, preparation methods
• Create and serve innovative cocktails
• Provide relevant and innovative serves for individual whiskeys
• Suggest innovative ideas for events and tastings and menus
• Maintaining exceptional drink service standards
• Process all payments
• Mentoring and training of staff around our drinks
• Host guest tastings and masterclasses
• Flexibility to work at any of the Garcha Group Hotels
• Any other duties / tasks as requested by management

Other Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate/NITEC or equivalent qualification in any field.

Proficient in spoken and written English to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.

Minimum 2-3 years of relevant working experience in the hospitality industry.
