Job summary

Four Seasons Hotel Singapore is seeking an Assistant Bar Manager for One-Ninety Bar. You will lead daily operations, coach a skilled team and partner with the Beverage Manager to deliver polished, memorable service for discerning guests in a luxury setting.

You will develop people, uphold high standards, manage cost and scheduling, and ensure system accuracy while maintaining a guest-centric environment that reflects the Four Seasons brand.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience as a Team Leader, Supervisor or similar in luxury hotel or high-end bar/lounge.
• Strong knowledge of bar and F&B operations and guest experience.
• Good understanding of beverage operations, cost control, and labour management.
• Passion for developing people and creating a positive team culture.
• Confident communication and interpersonal skills with guests and colleagues.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive, hands-on approach with decision-making ownership.
• Good computer literacy and ability to work with POS and hotel systems.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Growth mindset and desire for long-term career in luxury hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily bar operations from the floor, ensuring warm, attentive and unobtrusive service.
• Develop and coach the team through pre-shift briefings, training and ongoing guidance.
• Maintain service standards, grooming, product knowledge and consistency.
• Build guest relationships, anticipate needs and manage feedback and recovery.
• Collaborate with Beverage Manager and F&B leadership to maintain operational excellence.
• Learn beverage and food offerings, including preparation methods and presentation.
• Assist with scheduling and manpower planning to balance service and labour.
• Monitor usage, inventories, equipment and supplies to support cost control.
• Maintain cleanliness, presentation, safety, and upkeep across the bar and adjacent areas.
• Oversee daily administration including revenue docs, cash handling, inventories and shift reports.
• Ensure accurate use of POS and hotel systems.
• Maintain communication through logs, briefings and cross-department collaboration.
• Navigate challenging situations with professionalism, empathy, and care.
• Foster teamwork and a positive, respectful work environment.
• Identify opportunities to improve guest experience and operations.
