Job summary

Mandarin Oriental, Singapore is a sanctuary of luxury and sophistication overlooking the Marina Bay. We seek a Bar Manager with at least five years in international luxury hotels to lead and develop the bar team, ensure VIP guest satisfaction, and drive profitability through superior service and cost control.

You will collaborate with the kitchen and sommelier to maintain high standards, manage rosters within budget, and deliver WOW moments to guests in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of experience as Bar Manager in international luxury hotel groups.
• Service-oriented team player with strong leadership and people skills.
• Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the operations to ensure guest satisfaction is monitored and rectified throughout their experience.
• Enforce and monitor operational standards, SOPs and quality measures at all times.
• Identify areas for improvement in service and F&B quality and formulate action plans.
• Assist in preparing the department Sales and Marketing plans.
• Ensure the outlets' budget is aligned and costs are controlled to maximize profitability.
• Maximize bar profitability by increasing turnover while controlling costs.
• Ensure guest needs are met with efficient, professional service.
• Liaise with Kitchen to ensure consistent food quality and presentation.
