Job summary

Singapore Swimming Club is seeking an Assistant Manager, Banquet to curate refined banquet experiences for members and guests. You will oversee event planning, setup, and service delivery, partnering with members, clients and internal teams to ensure flawless execution and high standards.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in a similar role, strong client relationship skills, and proficiency in MS Office and event tools.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Events, Hospitality, Hotel Management or related field preferred.
• 2–3 years of relevant banquet/event experience.
• Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships professionally.
• Well-organised, detail-oriented and able to handle multiple priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and event management tools.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Banquet Operations Assistants on duty and ensure service standards are met.
• Enforce Club quality service standards at all times.
• Manage F&B control procedures including issuing and documenting chits.
• Address members’ complaints and service concerns promptly.
• Take corrective actions to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Coordinate with teams for setup and service delivery of events.
• Conduct daily function room checks for readiness and consistency.
• Support event preparations including table setup and pre-event tasks.
• Assist with other operational duties as assigned by HOD or Management.
