Job summary

Singapore Island Country Club is seeking an Events Executive to oversee golf, banquets and other events, ensuring smooth execution and high service standards. You will also support client coordination, event administration, billing and departmental sales activities.

The role requires weekend availability and strong coordination, communication and organizational skills to manage clients, vendors and multiple events effectively.

Qualifications

• Ability to commit to weekend work.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• Customer-oriented and organised; able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Secure private banquets and functions (e.g. corporate seminars & conferences, weddings, social events, private golf tournaments).
• Coordinate all private event matters with clients via Golf Event Overviews, Banquet Event Orders and other channels.
• Issue weekly Event Forecasts and Banquet Event Orders to relevant departments for planning.
• Prepare and/or oversee printing of event materials (e.g. signs, menus, name tags).
• Attend to billing enquiries and prepare billing summaries for private events.
• Manage and control all available function room spaces.
• Collaborate with trusted event vendors (decor, emcee, live band, etc.).
• Ensure service of the highest standard for members and clients.
• Attend to and resolve customer complaints and tabulate feedback for management.
• Issue meeting agendas and take minutes for relevant dept. meetings.
• Handle backroom admin duties (purchases, gifts, filing).
• Support sales by cold calling or networking and assist with monthly revenue reports.
