Job summary

Manulife Singapore seeks a senior strategist to lead the development of our forward-looking bancassurance strategy and shape the next phase of banca partnerships across Retail, Wealth, Private Bank, SME and Digital.

The role defines long-term partnership direction, identifies growth opportunities, and converts strategic options into clear investment priorities. You’ll engage senior stakeholders and lead a small strategy team to execute with impact.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, business development or strategic partnerships, preferably within financial services.
• Demonstrated ability to develop growth strategies and build investment cases.
• Strong commercial judgement, analytical capability and executive communication skills.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and work across complex partnerships.
• Experience leading a small strategy team, e.g., as a consulting EM/PL or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or postgraduate qualification advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead partnership and business strategy across bancassurance partnerships.
• Define strategic priorities and align with annual business planning.
• Oversee horizon growth agendas and opportunity development.
• Establish market and intelligence views to guide strategic actions.
• Develop strategic roadmaps and collaborate with senior stakeholders and Transformation team.
