Job summary

ASK CONNECTIONS PTE. LTD. is seeking a bakery staff to produce bread and buns on schedule and assist in preparations while upholding safety standards.

You will monitor ingredients, keep the bakery area neat and hygienic, manage basic store duties including staff scheduling and material control, and ensure brand image and cost control in daily operations.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years bakery experience preferred
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy items
• Able to read and follow recipes
• Proficient baking skills
• Strong organizational abilities
• Adheres to health and safety regulations
• Capable of meeting strict deadlines

Responsibilities

• Produce bread and buns on schedule
• Assist in preparation of bread and other items
• Maintain hygiene of bakery area
• Monitor and receive stocks of baking ingredients
• Manage staff scheduling and material control for the store
• Uphold brand image and carry out daily operations
• Monitor store cost and wastage
• Perform ad hoc duties as required

Job description

Job Scope:

• Able to produce bread/buns on schedule
• Assist in preparations of bread and other items
• Follows proper handling and right temperature of all food products
• Monitoring, checking, and receiving stocks for baking ingredients
• Responsible to maintain the premises of the baking area in a neat and hygienic manner
• Practice good housekeeping & workplace/kitchen safety awareness
• Ensure compliance of all food safety standards in bakery functions
• Assist in ad hoc duties as and when required
• Be responsible for the staff scheduling and material management of the store
• Maintain the brand image of the store in accordance with the company's requirements, carry out daily work
• Be responsible for the cost control of the store
• Complete other tasks assigned by superiors

Requirements:

• Prefer a minimum of 1-2 years and above of bakery work experience
• Physical fit and able to carry heavy stuff
• Ability to read and follow recipes
• Possess baking skills
• Good organizational skills
• Must be able to adhere to health and safety regulations
• Ability to meet strict deadlines
