Job summary

TIAN TIAN MANPOWER (PTE.) LTD. in Singapore seeks a dedicated baker for our artisan bread kitchen. The role requires punctuality, neat grooming, and strong teamwork to meet daily targets while maintaining food hygiene and safety standards.

You will handle mixing, kneading, resting and shaping, and may create or tweak recipes to satisfy customer preferences. Weekend and PH shifts are required; prior R&D for gourmet breads is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong execution, communication, and time management.
• A good team player who can work with minimal supervision.
• Research and development to create value-added products with gourmet ingredients.
• Uphold high standard of workplace and food hygiene; care for equipment.
• Able to work on public holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Report for duty punctually, presentable and neatly groomed.
• Keep the cleanliness and housekeeping of work station and work areas.
• Check freshness of food and discard out-of-date items.
• Monitor food stock and place orders.
• Promote teamwork to achieve business goals or targets.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore health and safety regulations within the kitchen area.
• Other duties assigned by Manager.
• Able to create own recipes or tweak recipes to bake different varieties of artisan breads according to customer liking and demand.
• Able to mix, knead, rest, stretch and fold per artisan baking process.

• Keep the cleanliness and housekeeping of work station and work areas;
• Check freshness of food and discard out-of-date items;
• Monitor food stock and place orders;
• Promoting teamwork to achieve business goals or targets;
• Ensure compliance with all Singapore health and safety regulations within the kitchen area;
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Manager;
• Able create own recipes or tweak recipes to bake different variety of artisan breads according to the customer liking and demand.
• Able to do mixing to kneading to resting and stretching and folding, ensure all steps are according to strict artisan baking process.

• A good team player possesses the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Research and development effort is a must, including creating value added products with gourmet ingredients like cheese, ham or herbs
• Uphold high standard of workplace and food hygiene and care for the equipment is a must.
• Able to work on PH and Weekend
