Job summary

Render Private Limited is hiring a full-time baker to prepare and bake a variety of breads across Singapore. You will manage dough processes, ensure quality and maintain a clean, safe kitchen.

The role requires at least 1 year of related experience, fluency in English and Mandarin, and the ability to work long hours, including evenings and weekends. Location is islandwide with a permanent contract.

Qualifications

• Diploma or high school diploma required.
• At least 1 year of work experience in related fields.
• Full-time job.
• English and Mandarin communication required.

Responsibilities

• Produce and bake a variety of breads following established recipes.
• Oversee dough mixing, fermentation, shaping and baking processes.
• Ensure products meet visual and taste standards before distribution.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace in accordance with hygiene regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to optimize production and meet daily targets.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate with procurement for timely replenishment.

Key Responsibilities

• Bread Production: Prepare and bake a variety of breads, including sourdoughs, baguettes, and specialty loaves, adhering to Tiong Bahru Bakery's established recipes and quality standards.
• Dough Management: Oversee the mixing, fermentation, shaping, and baking processes, ensuring consistency and excellence in every batch.
• Quality Control: Conduct regular assessments to ensure all products meet our visual and taste standards before distribution to outlets.
• Hygiene & Safety: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, strictly adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow bakers and kitchen staff to optimize production schedules and meet daily targets.
• Inventory Management: Monitor ingredient stock levels and coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely replenishment.
