Job summary

ST Venture Employment Agency is seeking a bakery assistant in Singapore near Bugis. The role involves preparing, baking, and presenting a range of breads and pastries, following recipes, and maintaining high hygiene standards.

You will monitor stock, work to a schedule, and keep the kitchen clean and safe. The position is full-time and permanent, with a 6-day work week and hours from 6.30am to 5.30pm, including a 1-hour meal break.

Qualifications

• Prior baking experience in a commercial or retail setting.
• Capacity to lift goods up to 20 kg (e.g. sacks of flour).
• Ability to work early mornings and weekends as required.
• Reliable, calm, focused work ethic and the ability to work independently or in a small team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a range of breads, pastries, and other baked items.

• Monitor ingredient levels and assist with stock rotation.

1. Prepare, bake and present all baked items effectively, meeting the company operation manual and gold standards.

2. Produce bread / buns on schedule.

3. Practice good housekeeping & workplace / kitchen safety awareness.

4. Ensure that food hygiene and safety standards are maintained and comply.

5. All other ad-hoc duties given by Supervisor.

6 days per week. Official working hours from 6.30am to 5.30pm. Entitled one (1) hour of meal break.

Working location - near bugis

• Able to lift goods up to 20kg (e.g. a sack of flour)
