Job summary

Search Personnel Pte Ltd is seeking a Sales Engineer to drive B2B sales for industrial automation solutions in Bukit Batok, Singapore. The role blends engineering knowledge with customer engagement and new business development across the sales cycle.

The ideal candidate holds an engineering diploma or degree and at least 1 year of sales or BD experience, with proven ability to translate technical needs into commercial opportunities. This is a permanent, on-site role with a 5-day week.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electromechanical, Industrial Engineering or other related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of actual sales or business development experience, preferably with B2B customers.
• Experience in prospecting, developing sales opportunities, managing accounts or closing commercial deals.
• Ability to engage customers on both technical and commercial requirements.

Responsibilities

• Identify, prospect and develop new B2B customers to expand the company’s market presence and sales pipeline.
• Drive business development through cold calling, customer visits, networking and follow-ups with prospective clients.
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers, identifying opportunities for repeat business and account growth.
• Understand customers’ technical requirements and recommend suitable automation products and engineering solutions.
• Prepare and present technical quotations, commercial proposals and product recommendations.
• Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, trials and proof-of-concept activities to support customer acquisition.
• Negotiate commercial terms, follow up on sales opportunities and close deals to achieve assigned sales targets.
• Work closely with internal technical teams to develop appropriate solutions for customer applications.
