Job summary

Search Personnel Pte Ltd is seeking a commercially driven Sales Engineer with an engineering background for a Bukit Batok, Singapore role. The position combines technical knowledge with customer engagement, new business development and solution-based selling.

Candidates must have engineering qualifications and relevant sales or business development experience, including prospecting, demonstrations and closing deals. A 5-day work week and competitive compensation are offered.

Qualifications

• Engineering Diploma or Degree required with sales or business development experience.
• Minimum 1 year of actual sales or business development experience.
• Experience in customer prospecting, developing sales opportunities, managing accounts or closing deals.
• Comfortable engaging customers on both technical and commercial requirements.

Responsibilities

• Identify, prospect and develop new B2B customers to expand the company’s market presence and sales pipeline.
• Drive business development through cold calling, customer visits, networking and follow-ups.
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers, identifying opportunities for repeat business and account growth.
• Understand customers’ technical requirements and recommend suitable automation products and engineering solutions.
• Prepare and present technical quotations, commercial proposals and product recommendations.
• Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, trials and PoC activities to support customer acquisition.
• Negotiate commercial terms, follow up on sales opportunities and close deals to achieve targets.
• Work closely with internal technical teams to develop appropriate solutions for customer applications.
