Job summary

Jetstar in Singapore is seeking a Material Specialist to assure materials availability and meet Heavy Maintenance utilisation. You will handle end-to-end logistics, establish vendor relationships, and ensure spares readiness across MRO facilities.

The role requires five years in procurement or logistics within aviation, strong communication, and proficiency with MIS and MS Office. You will work in a high-capacity passenger transport operation with a focus on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of procurement or logistics experience.
• Understanding of aircraft maintenance materials.
• Experience with MIS and Microsoft Office applications.
• Five years of aviation experience.

Responsibilities

• MRO materials supply management and vendor relationship development.
• Coordinate end-to-end logistics for Heavy Maintenance projects.
• Action AOG, CRITICAL and ROUTINE requisitions.
• Monitor part movements for planned maintenance and defect rectification.
• Mailbox management of purchasing, repairs and logistics requirements.
• Continuous improvement: cost control, vendor KPIs and stock analysis.
