Job summary

WSH Experts Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks an AV/IT support specialist to ensure smooth operation of hearing venues and virtual events, covering both physical and online participants.

Job Responsibilities

The scope of work of the SE/CFD shall include, but is not limited to, the following:

• Set up, test, and provide technical support for all hearing venues scheduled for virtual hearings, including hearings requiring both physical and virtual participants.
• Set up, test, and provide technical support for all virtual events, including events attended by both physical and virtual guests and participants.
• Set up and provide technical support for all matters relating to court operations that require video conferencing solutions.
• Act as the first responder to attend to, manage, mitigate, resolve, and report all disruptions relating to virtual hearings, events, and meetings.
• Ensure all video conferencing (VC) infrastructure-related hardware and software are operational at all times.
• Coordinate with and provide advice to court users, such as lawyers, prosecutors, self-represented persons, and court personnel, on matters requiring video conferencing.
• Conduct daily inspections to ensure hearing venues are available according to the court schedule.
• Take ownership of the management and maintenance of all VC and AV equipment and systems, including routine checks and preventive maintenance, to ensure there are no disruptions to virtual hearings and events in the three premises' hearing venues and event locations.
• Perform troubleshooting and minor repairs to VC and AV equipment, such as microphones, projectors, and sound mixing equipment, including necessary replacements, to enhance virtual hearings and events.
• Extract video recordings from cloud storage or computers. This includes labelling, editing, copying, and storing media on DVDs or servers.
• Retrieve recordings for transcription purposes.
• Track the inventory of VC and AV equipment and order supplies.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience in AV, Electrical, Electronics, or IT, with at least 1 year of experience providing AV/IT services to users.
