Job summary

WSH EXPERTS PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an AV/VC technician to set up, test, and provide technical support for hearings and virtual events. You will handle both physical and virtual participants, ensuring smooth operations of VC/AV hardware and software.

The role requires a diploma in a related field and at least 3 years of AV/IT experience, with familiarity in tools like Freshdesk or Manage Engine. Location is Havelock with weekday hours and possible weekend coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a diploma in a related field.
• 3 years of relevant experience (AV/IT) with at least 1 year in AV/IT service to users.
• Familiarity with customer service software such as Freshdesk or Manage Engine.

Responsibilities

• Set up, test and provide technical support for all hearings and events with both physical and virtual participants.
• Set up and provide technical support for all virtual events and court operations requiring video conferencing.
• Attend, manage, mitigate, resolve, and report disruptions related to virtual hearings, events, and meetings.
• Ensure VC infrastructure hardware and software are operational at all times.
• Coordinate with lawyers, prosecutors, self-represented persons and court personnel for VC matters.
• Conduct daily inspections to ensure hearing venues are available per schedule.
• Maintain VC and AV equipment; perform routine checks and preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on VC/AV equipment and replacements as needed.
• Extract and label video recordings from cloud or computer; copy and store media.
• Retrieve recordings for transcription purposes.
• Track inventory of VC and AV equipment and order supplies.

Job description

Set up, test and provide technical support for all hearing venues scheduled for virtual hearings, including hearings requiring both physical and virtual participants.

• Set up, test and provide technical support for all virtual events, including events attended by both physical and virtual guests and participants.
• Set up and provide technical support for all matters relating to court operations requiring video conferencing solutions.
• As first responders, attend, manage, mitigate, resolve, and report all disruptions relating to virtual hearings, events and meetings.
• Make sure all VC infrastructure's related hardware and software are operational at all times.
• Coordinate with and provide advice to all court users such as lawyers, prosecutors, self-represented persons and court personnel for all matters requiring video conferencing.
• Conduct daily inspections to ensure hearing venues are available according to court schedule.
• Take ownership in the management and maintenance of all VC and AV equipment and system, e.g., routine checks and preventive maintenance works Manpower To Support Virtual Court Hearings and Corporate Events in Singapore Courts to ensure no disruptions to virtual hearings and events in the 3 premises' hearing venues and event locations.
• Perform troubleshooting and minor repairs to VC and AV equipment e.g., microphones, projectors and sound mixing equipment, including necessary replacement, to enhance virtual hearings and events.
• Extract video recording from cloud or computer. It will require labelling, editing, copying and storing media in DVDs or servers.
• Retrieve recordings for the purpose of transcription.
• Track inventory of VC and AV equipment and order supplies

Requirements

1 The SE/CFD shall have the following attributes:

• Able to provide good customer service when providing technical services.

2 The SE/CFD must meet the following requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years relevant working experience (AV/Electrical/Electronics/IT), of which at least 1 year of experience should be in providing AV/ IT service to users.
• A diploma in a related field

3 In addition to the minimum requirements in paragraph 2, it will be ideal if the SE/CFD could also meet the following requirements:

• Be familiar with customer service software such as Freshdesk or Manage Engine.

Working location : Havelock

Work from 8.30am to 6.00pm (Monday to Friday), excluding public holidays

Work during weekends from 9.00am to 6.00pm for up to one (1) days per month when required.
