Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking an AV Technician to provide on-site technical support for school events. You will set up, test, operate, and dismantle AV equipment and assist presenters with AV and presentation needs.

You will troubleshoot audio/video connectivity, support live streaming and hybrid meetings, and conduct knowledge-sharing sessions for staff and students. Diploma in AV/IT preferred and proficiency in Microsoft applications required.

Qualifications

• Minimum diploma in AV, media, IT, electronics, or related field.
• Preferably 2 years working as AV.
• Executive and/or Multimedia related or equivalent.
• Experience in training on multimedia and ICT skills.
• Experience in AV operations, event support, conference facilities, broadcasting, or related environment preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications.

Responsibilities

• Set up, test, operate, and dismantle AV equipment while providing on-site technical support and assisting presenters, speakers, and event organisers with AV/presentation requirements.
• Operate AV systems and troubleshoot audio, video, connectivity, and equipment issues, escalating complex problems when required.
• Support live streaming, video recording, photography, hybrid meetings, and virtual event requirements where applicable.
• Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions for staff and students on effective use of relevant AV tools, equipment, and applications.
• Ensure AV equipment/resources are properly managed, maintained, and recorded, with all operations in line with safety procedures and guidelines.
• Perform other AV-related duties as assigned by HOD ICT and SH ICT.

Option to renew

Personnel to be deployed at the following hours

• Mondays to Fridays: 7:00am to 3:00pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays

Requirements

The Personnel shall minimally have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

• Ability to work independently as well as part of an event or technical team.
• Good communication and organisational skills, with attention to detail.

Function:
