Job summary

DKSH is seeking a Service Engineer to deliver technical support, installation, and after-sales services for advanced automation equipment. The role emphasizes building strong customer relationships and driving service excellence across the DKSH portfolio.

Applicants should have a Diploma in Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronics and 3–5 years in Semiconductor/SMT or be a fresh graduate. Travel overseas on short notice is expected; strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronics required or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in Semiconductor/SMT preferred; fresh graduates are welcome.
• Hands-on with at least one listed equipment (laser welders, laser marking, UV curing, X-ray).
• Familiarity with Vacuum/Atmospheric Plasma or VJE Rework Systems is a plus.
• Willingness to travel overseas on short notice; able to work independently and in a team.
• Strong communication skills and customer-facing mindset.

Responsibilities

• Support service sales targets by identifying new opportunities with sales and service teams.
• On-site installation and commissioning of automation equipment at customer sites.
• Deliver training to customers on operation, setup, and maintenance.
• Provide after-sales technical support and service activities for optimal equipment performance.
• Conduct product application testing to validate performance and functionality.
• Build strong customer relationships and position DKSH as a trusted solutions provider.
• Provide project progress updates to the reporting manager.
• Manage administrative and coordination tasks as required.
