Job summary

Excel Marco Industrial Systems Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced automation engineer to execute multiple industrial automation projects in parallel, report to the Lead Engineer or Project Manager, and deliver outcomes that meet customer specifications.

You will develop PLC and HMI graphics, draft technical designs, conduct FAT, and coordinate testing at customer sites. A Diploma/Bachelor in Engineering and 2+ years in automation are required; travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in automation project execution.
• Knowledge of PLC, SCADA, instrumentation and safety systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute industrial automation projects in parallel.
• Report to Lead Engineer/Project Manager and meet customer specs.
• Draft technical design and prepare drawings/documents.
• Develop PLC programs and HMI graphics per project needs.
• Conduct internal hardware/software testing and FAT.
• Perform testing, commissioning and Site Acceptance Tests at customer site.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Execute one or more industrial automation projects in parallel

• Report to the Lead engineer and/or Project Manager and deliver the project in compliance to customer specifications

• Responsible for the Draft technical design for project and prepare associated documentations/drawings

• Develop PLC program and HMI graphics as per project requirements

• Conduct internal hardware & software integrated testing and Factory Acceptance Test

• Conduct testing & commissioning and Site Acceptance Tests at customer's site

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years relevant experience in automation industry with DCS/PLC project execution

• Diploma/Bachelor Degree in Engineering related disciplines.

• Knowledge of PLC, SCADA, instrumentation and safety instrumented systems will be an advantage.

• Working knowledge with Siemens Step-7, WinCC and PCS7 preferred

• Possess good interpersonal and leadership skills.

• Able to work independently and as a team player

• Proficient in English (written and verbal)

• Able to travel within short notice & to developing countries

• Permanent Residents & Singaporeans preferred
