Job summary

HPS PARTNERS PTE. LTD. is seeking an automation engineer to lead the design, installation, and improvement of automation equipment and production systems in Singapore.

The role requires strong PLC programming skills, CAD capability, and experience with SOPs, WI, and maintenance documentation. You will manage schedules, FAT/SAT, validation, and drawings while ensuring safety compliance. Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Automation, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Proficient in PLC programming, CAD, Microsoft Office, and statistical tools such as Minitab or MATLAB.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, installation, commissioning, and improvement of automation equipment and production systems.
• Manage project schedules, execution, FAT/SAT, validation, and technical drawings.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and improve production lines via root-cause analysis.
• Develop and maintain PLC, cobot, electrical, mechanical, SOP, WI, and preventive maintenance documentation.
• Coordinate with internal teams and suppliers to ensure timely, quality project delivery.
• Train operations and maintenance teams and support equipment servicing when required.
• Comply with all EHS policies and workplace safety requirements.
