About the role

AV One (S) Pte Ltd is seeking a skilled and dedicated Audio Visual (AV) Repair Technician/Installer to join our growing team. This is a full-time position that combines hands‑on technical expertise with customer service excellence. As an AV Repair Technician/Installer, you will be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting and repair of audio‑visual systems for a diverse range of clients. This role is critical to ensuring our customers receive reliable, high‑quality AV solutions and continued support for their technology investments. You will work both on‑site at client locations and in our workshop, playing a key role in delivering professional AV services that meet industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and commission audio‑visual systems, including projectors, screens, amplifiers and speakers

• Diagnose and troubleshoot AV equipment faults using appropriate testing tools and technical knowledge

• Perform repairs and maintenance on a wide variety of AV components

• Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine appropriate AV solutions and installation requirements

• Test systems post‑installation to ensure optimal performance and compliance with specifications

• Provide technical support and guidance to customers on equipment operation and maintenance

• Collaborate with team members to support project delivery and knowledge sharing

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as an AV Technician, AV Installer or in a similar technical role within the audio‑visual or electronics industry

• Sound knowledge of audio‑visual equipment, systems and components (projectors, amplifiers, speakers etc.)

• Competence in using diagnostic tools and test equipment relevant to AV systems

• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities with a methodical approach to fault diagnosis

• Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical customers

• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites

• Relevant certifications or qualifications in AV installation, electronics or related fields are advantageous
