Job summary

Kim Yew Integrated Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Senior AV Technician – Facilities Maintenance to join our on-site facilities team. You will manage and maintain AV and VC systems for the premises.

Responsibilities include setting up PA/AV/VC equipment, event preparations, pre-event checks, safety, and routine maintenance. A Diploma or higher in Electrical/Communication/Electronics and at least 3 years of local AV/VC experience are required.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of Singapore-relevant AV/VC experience.
• Experience with audio systems, video conferencing, and associated cabling.
• Good written and spoken communication.

Responsibilities

• Set up PA/AV/VC systems and equipment; service, troubleshoot and maintain.
• Prepare and schedule time for events and assist in setup for smooth operations.
• Ensure safety and compliance in AV storage area.
• Perform pre-events checks on AV systems for meetings, training or functions.
• Carry out routine checks on AV/VC systems; priority checks for auditorium and meeting rooms.
• Attend to AV/VC requests, feedback and complaints.
• Provide technical advice and operational support for AV requirements.
• Investigate faults and rectify; liaise with event organizers on logistics.
• Assist in general maintenance of the facilities premises.

Job description

We are seeking a Senior AV Technician – Facilities Maintenance to join our facilities team in Singapore. This is a full-time position based on-site, where you will take on the role in managing and maintaining audio visual (AV) and VC systems in the facilities premises.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS

• Set- up of PA / AV / VC systems and equipment. Service, troubleshoot and maintenance of the systems and equipment.

• Prepare and schedule time for events. Participate in the set up and ensuring the smooth operations of events.

• Ensure safety and compliance in AV storage area.

• Performing pre-events checks on AV systems and equipment for meetings, training sessions or functions . I.e. Projectors , speakers , sound systems , microphones etc.

• To carryoutroutinechecks onAVand VC systems andequipmenttoensuretheyareinworkingcondition . Priority checks for Auditorium and meeting rooms or when major events are held at .

• Attending to requests/ queries, feedback and complaints pertaining to AV and VC systems and equipment.

• Providingtechnicaladvice, operationalsupport for foraudiovisualrequirements.

• Respondingto complaints , faults if any reported or detectedduring routineservicingand maintenance. To investigate the cause of the faults, to make recommendations for the repair required and promptly rectify them.

• Liaising with event organizers on logistics support and event set up requirements.

• Assist in general maintenance of facilities premises (training will be provided).

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Candidate must possess at least NTC / Nitec / Higher Nitec qualification or Diploma and above in Electrical / Communication or electronics engineering field.

• At least 3 year(s) of SINGAPORE relevant AV / VC working experience in the related field is needed.

• Audio systems , Video Conferencing , TV / Monitor screen troubleshooting and cables knowledge.

• Good communication and writing skills .

• To assist in general Building / M&E maintenance as well .

• Ability to work independently and have good time management.
