Job summary

Beca is seeking a Manager - Electrical in Singapore to lead complex electrical building services projects across sectors. You will drive concept to detailed design, coordinate QA and commissioning, and manage teams, costs and client interfaces.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in consulting, a degree in electrical engineering (PEB recognised), and strong English communication. PE certification is an advantage. This role offers growth, supportive culture and industry-leading projects.

• Experience: minimum 7 years in a consulting firm.
• Professional Engineer certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of complex electrical building services projects across multiple sectors.
• Manage projects from concept through detailed design, planning and resourcing.
• Lead M&E teams to deliver compliant, high-quality solutions and technical reporting.
• Coordinate QA and commissioning with other disciplines and consultants.
• Manage jobs control, planning, monitoring, progress and cost reporting.
• Provide clear technical advice to clients to maximise understanding and efficiency.
• Mentor and coach junior peers to build capability.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of complex electrical building services projects across multiple sectors, ensuring high quality outcomes
• Manage projects from concept development through detailed design, planning and resourcing
• Lead M&E teams to deliver compliant, high-quality solutions, with accountability for technical excellence and delivery performance.
• Responsible for analysis of information, production of design, tenders, proposals and technical report writing
• Assist in coordination of quality assurance and commissioning of designs with other disciplines and other design consultants
• In charge of jobs control, planning, monitoring, progress and job cost reporting
• Respond to client enquiries and needs by providing clear, trusted technical advice that maximises understanding, clarity and efficiency
• Demonstrate strong communication, presentation, networking and consulting skills to build trusted relationships with clients, consultants and contractors, fostering a collaborative, high-performing team environment
• Mentor and coach junior peers, contributing to capability building across the M&E discipline

Key Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering preferably recognised by Singapore PEB
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in consulting firm
• Certified Professional Engineer will be an advantage.
• Extensive practical application of principles and practices within Electrical discipline
• Excellent written & spoken communication skills in English
• Able to work independently & exercise initiative
• Able to interact and work with colleagues and member of other consultants at various levels.
