Job summary

BearyFun Gym in Singapore is seeking an Assistant Centre Manager / Centre Manager to oversee daily operations, drive growth and lead a team of coaches in a busy children’s gym. You will report to the Senior Manager and shape Centre performance with a hands-on leadership style.

You’ll develop programmes, ensure safety, manage customer service, and mentor junior coaches while maintaining a fun, inclusive environment for children aged 18 months to 12 years.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business management, operations or a leadership role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Passion for working with children and delivering high-quality programmes
• Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in gymnastics coaching is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Drive business and operations: develop and implement plans to achieve business growth and operational efficiency; analyse and monitor KPIs; oversee resource allocation; ensure exceptional customer service; track sales performance and implement improvements.
• Lead the gymnastics programme: coach classes for children 18 months to 12 years; deliver curriculum; mentor coaches; perform routine cleaning and maintenance of equipment.
• Lead and grow your team: be a role model; foster positive team culture; support career development; manage personnel administration; resolve workplace conflicts; ensure health, safety and wellbeing of staff and participants

Since 2003, BearyFun Gym has helped over 25,000 children discover the joy of movement. Our fun, inclusive, non-competitive gymnastics programmes build confidence, character and healthy habits, and today we run 7 gyms across Singapore and work with 70+ kindergartens and childcare centres.

We're looking for an Assistant Centre Manager / Centre Manager to oversee the daily operations, business performance and team leadership of your centre, reporting to the Senior Manager. If you're a leader who is passionate about children and about building strong teams, we'd love to meet you.

What you’ll do

• Drive business and operations
  • Develop and implement plans to achieve business growth and operational efficiency
  • Analyse and monitor key performance indicators, ensuring cost-effective operations
  • Oversee and optimise resource allocation while minimising expenses
  • Ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction at every level
  • Track sales performance continuously and implement improvements where needed
• Lead the gymnastics programme
  • Lead and coach gymnastics classes for children aged 18 months to 12 years, managing groups of 10 to 20 children
  • Deliver our gymnastics curriculum across different skill levels
  • Mentor and develop junior and trainee coaches to maintain instructional quality
  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of gym equipment and apparatus to keep them safe and functional
