Job summary

BearyFun Gym in Singapore is seeking an energetic Junior Gym Coach to lead fun gymnastics classes for children from 18 months to 12 years. You will adapt the progressive curriculum to each child’s age and ability, keeping sessions engaging, positive, and safety-first.

You will build relationships with families, update parents on progress, and travel between gym and school locations while supporting the coaching team and Centre Manager.

Qualifications

• Genuine passion for working with children and gymnastics or movement.
• Energetic, patient and encouraging, with the ability to engage young learners.
• Background in gymnastics, physical education, sports coaching or related field (preferred).
• Experience coaching or working with young children is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of child development and safety procedures.
• Clear communicator, comfortable with both children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Coach and run fun, structured gymnastics classes for ages 18 months to 12 years.
• Adapt curriculum to each child's age and pace.
• Maintain safe classes by following spotting techniques and safety policies.
• Supervise, respond calmly to incidents and manage equipment setup/cleanup.
• Build positive relationships with children and update parents on progress.
• Support team with attendance records and scheduling as needed.
