Job summary

Vistra in Singapore is looking for an Associate, Management Accounting to support client service for an assigned portfolio, prepare financial statements and management accounts, and ensure compliance with SFRS standards. The role is full-time, based in Singapore with regional coverage and a hybrid working arrangement.

The ideal candidate has a degree in accountancy or finance, 2–3 years of accounting experience, and solid knowledge of Singapore FRS/IFRS.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be the primary client service contact for assigned portfolio. Monitor and respond promptly to client requests. Strengthen client relationships.
• Lead discussion with clients on operational matters and critical issues that need to be addressed
• Preparing financial statements, management accounts and accounting packages
• Proficient in drafting disclosures and related wordings in compliance with SFRS accounting standards and financial reporting requirements.
• Working closely with other teams (i.e. Cash Management, Corporate Secretarial and other Vistra offices) to ensure overall operations are running smoothly.
• Undertake management and general administration and other special projects as assigned by the Management.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in accountancy (CPA/ACCA/ACA) or finance or equivalent
• Minimum 2-3 years of accounting experience, fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Sound knowledge of Singapore FRS/IFRS.
• Effective client relations, teamworking and management skills
• Time management and multi-tasking
• Analytical, independent and resourceful
• Familiarity with Xero accounting software and experience in process improvement will be advantageous
• Strong working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word
