Job summary

TÜV SÜD Group in Singapore is seeking a dedicated testing technician to conduct packaging tests and related evaluations ensuring compliance with international standards. You will be responsible for executing tests, reporting results, and ensuring safety guidelines are followed on time.

This full-time on-site role offers a hands-on environment with opportunities to contribute to product quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• GCE N/O level, SPM or Diploma in Mechatronics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Results- and service-oriented with initiative and good communication skills.
• Proactive team player who can work independently on challenging projects and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct testing and evaluations on packaging related products such as compression, drop, vibration, impact and shock tests to ensure compliance to international standards.
• Ensure testing is done in compliance with safety guidelines and completed on schedule in accordance to client’s requirements.
• Prepare and upkeep of test reports.
• Maintain and upkeep test facilities and equipment.
• Take charge of quality related issues, raise non-conformance reports and assist with the necessary rectifications.

Key Requirements

• Minimum obtained GCE N/O level, SPM or Diploma in Mechatronics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent
• Results and service-oriented individual who possesses initiative and good communication skills
• Proactive team player with the ability to work independently in challenging projects and timelines
• Self-motivated and resourceful with a "can-do" attitude
