Job summary

TÜV SÜD PSB Pte Ltd in Singapore invites applications for a hands-on testing technician in our QA lab. You will conduct packaging-related tests including compression, drop, vibration, impact and shock assessments to ensure compliance with international standards.

You will prepare and upkeep test reports, maintain test facilities and equipment, and address quality issues with non-conformance reports as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum obtained GCE N/O level, SPM or Diploma in Mechatronics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent.
• Results and service-oriented individual who possesses initiative and good communication skills.
• Proactive team player with the ability to work independently in challenging projects and timelines.
• Self-motivated and resourceful with a "can-do" attitude.

Responsibilities

• Conduct testing and evaluations on packaging related products such as compression, drop, vibration, impact and shock tests / dynamic testing to ensure compliance to international standards.
• Ensure testing is done in compliant to safety guidelines and completed on schedule in accordance to client's requirements.
• Prepare and upkeep of test reports.

• Take charge of quality related issues, raise non-conformance reports and assist with the necessary rectifications.
