Job summary

TÜV SÜD PSB Pte. Ltd. in Singapore invites applications for a hands-on laboratory engineer focused on fire testing and related inspection activities.

You will set up test specimens, monitor tests, collect data, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with quality standards and ISO/IEC 17025, while collaborating with customers and internal teams in a fast-paced onsite lab environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum Nitec or Higher Nitec in Engineering, Fire Safety, Materials Science, or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation and execution of fire testing projects in accordance with applicable standards and laboratory procedures.
• Set up test specimens, equipment, and instrumentation for testing activities.
• Monitor tests, collect and record data, and assist in the preparation of test reports and documentation.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.
• Coordinate with customers and internal stakeholders to support project delivery and resolve operational matters.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the laboratory.
