Job summary

The candidate will maintain laboratories and equipment and collaborate across departments. The position is full-time, onsite in Singapore, and suitable for NITEC/Higher NITEC or diploma holders, including

Qualifications

• NITEC / Higher NITEC/Diploma in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering with 1–2 years of relevant experience.
• Fresh NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma holders will also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assist Executive Engineer/Manager to conduct testing and evaluations on Building and Industrial products to ensure compliance to international standards.
• Set-up test fixtures for customized test procedures.
• Prepare simple standard test reports.
• Collaborate with vendors and other departments on testing requirements.
• Upkeep of the laboratories, equipment and test facilities.
• Familiarity with standards and practical knowledge.

Key Requirements

• NITEC / Higher NITEC/Diploma in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering with at least 1-2 years. of relevant working experience. Fresh NITEC / Higher NITEC/Diploma will also be considered.
• Prior testing experience in construction or testing industries will be an added advantage.
• Result and service-oriented individual with good interpersonal skills
• An independent, resourceful and proactive team player.
• Enthusiastic and resourceful with a "can-do" attitude.
• Able to perform under time pressure.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting abilities and practical problem-solving skills.
