Job summary

OCBC Bank in Singapore is seeking an Internal Communications Manager to lead the end-to-end internal communications portfolio across divisions, driving strategic communications that strengthen awareness and engagement with divisional priorities. You will partner with senior leaders to translate business objectives into clear messaging, provide communications advisory, and manage employee feedback channels.

• Degree in Communications, Business, Marketing or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in internal communications and employee engagement.
• Strong writing, editing and storytelling skills with the ability to influence diverse audiences.
• Experience managing digital platforms (e.g. SharePoint) and engagement channels (e.g. Viva Engage).
• Ability to analyze feedback, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and partner with senior stakeholders.

Role Purpose:

Manage the end-to-end internal communications portfolio for the Division across multiple clusters, driving strategic communications and employee engagement initiatives that strengthen awareness, alignment, and engagement with divisional priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute internal communication strategies, leadership messages, staff announcements, feature articles, and engagement content to support key business priorities.


• Partner with senior leaders and stakeholders to translate business objectives and organisational developments into clear, impactful, and audience-centric communications.


• Provide communications advisory support to leadership and ensure consistency of messaging across communication channels.


• Lead the management of employee feedback platforms and engagement channels, including the collection, tracking, analysis, and publication of employee feedback and responses.


• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely follow-up and resolution of employee feedback, while promoting transparency and accountability.


• Monitor employee sentiment, engagement metrics, and feedback trends, and provide insights and recommendations to inform engagement strategies and action plans.


• Plan and execute employee engagement campaigns, events, and initiatives that strengthen awareness, participation, and organisational culture.


• Support organisational change, transformation programmes, and key business initiatives through targeted communication and engagement activities.


• Manage communication calendars, editorial schedules, dashboards, and project timelines to ensure high-quality and timely delivery.

Requirements

• Degree in Communications, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.


• Proven experience in internal communications, employee engagement, employee feedback programmes, stakeholder management, or corporate communications.


• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence and engage diverse audiences.


• Experience managing digital communication platforms (e.g. SharePoint) and employee engagement channels (e.g. Viva Engage).


• Ability to analyse employee feedback and engagement data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.


• Ability to operate independently, manage multiple priorities, and build effective partnerships with senior stakeholders.
