Job summary

Sodexo Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a hands-on F&B Supervisor to oversee daily operations on site. You will supervise staff, manage inventories, ensure food safety, and maintain service standards while controlling costs and labor efficiency.

The role requires coordinating with Unit Manager and Head Chef, ensuring compliance with FIFO, and delivering excellent customer service during peak hours.

Qualifications

Job Summary

To supervise Food and Beverage staff, carry out financial reporting along side with the Unit Manager, rotas and functions management. Maintain effective control of Food & Beverage Services on site. Responsible for preparing and/or cooking the Food & Beverage menu. Purchasing, ordering and basic stock control.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor portioning and ensure quality food preparation to control food, beverage and other supplies costs.
• Communicate all inventory and supply needs to Unit Manager and/or Head Chef.
• Ensure cleanliness of food outlet area; stock and prepare food items as required.
• Monitor cleaning rotation schedule on the daily basis. Implement and enforce FIFO at all times.
• Ensure that all F&B staff deliver excellent customer service and that they adhere to service standards.
• Ensure that F&B staff adhere to safety and general procedures as outlined in SEQ policy
• Ensure the F&B service meets business needs and standards and ensure any vending machines are full and assist with filling vending machines. Ensure adherence to cash handling and finance procedures.
• Ensure tight control of stock and minimize wastage.
• Assist in the development and delivery of staff training which is consistent with business needs.
• Verify and supervise line staff and that work are prepared for the next day.
• Facilitate conflict resolution and assist the team with Cashier and Cook duties during high volume times.
• Complete daily paperwork promptly.
• Track and prepare all schedules to maximize productivity and keep labor costs within budget.
• Any other duties as may be required by the Unit Manager or the Management.
• Ensure legal requirements and standards related to Sodexo Food Safety and Workplace Safety and Health are implemented and adhered during the entire Operational processes related to Food Services and its scope of activities.
• Ensure food safety procedures are adhered to by kitchen and service's team.
• Ensure only trained employees are deployed and have been briefed on their roles any other food safety related tasks assigned e.g. temperature monitoring of food, storage and equipment, taking food samples, cleaning activities.
• Any other duties as may be required by the Unit Manager or the management.
