Job summary

The Land Transport Authority (LTA) invites applications for the role of Deputy/Assistant Manager, Transit Operator Performance Management. You will help ensure high reliability and availability of MRT train services by auditing O&M processes and coordinating contractor performance.

The role requires engineering knowledge, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to engage multiple stakeholders. Fresh graduates may apply for senior positions depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in Engineering.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word); data visualization/analytics tools or RPA is an advantage.
• At least 3 years of design or O&M experience in large-scale infrastructure projects, preferably in the railway industry.
• Ability to engage and manage multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Self-motivated, astute, meticulous, and resourceful.
• Good communication (oral and written) and presentation skills.
• Familiarity with local railway and building regulations, codes and standards will be an advantage.
• Candidates with very good relevant experience may be considered for more senior positions.

Responsibilities

• Planning and conducting audits on O&M processes and executions covering the various rail systems to ensure compliance with procedures and contract requirements.
• Managing other contractual matters and O&M issues such as assessment of contract variations/claims, budgeting, and investigation of incidents/service delays.
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders on issues relating to design review, system interface, testing and commissioning, and emergency exercises.
