You will lead a team, monitor receiving, packing, storage, and delivery, and ensure product quality and safety standards are met. The role requires 5+ years of experience, a diploma or higher education, and strong leadership, organizational, and negotiation skills.

• Perform regular checks on warehouse equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the workplace.
• Assist in preparing operational reports and identifying areas for improvement.

Responsibility:

As an Assistant Supervisor, you will assist in overseeing daily operations, inventory management, quality control, and team coordination within the fruits and vegetables wholesale division. This role requires good leadership skills, attention to product quality, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description:

• Assist in supervising and coordinating daily warehouse and wholesale operations for fresh and frozen fruits and vegetables.
• Monitor receiving, sorting, packing, storage, and delivery processes to ensure product quality and operational efficiency.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of fruits and vegetables according to food safety and hygiene standards.
• Support stock inventory management, stock rotation, and replenishment to maintain accurate inventory levels.
• Coordinate with suppliers, delivery drivers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries.
• Assist in training and guiding workers to improve productivity and teamwork.
• Conduct regular checks on warehouse equipment and report maintenance issues when necessary.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety standards are maintained within the workplace.
• Assist in preparing operational reports and identifying areas for improvement.
• Able to carry heavy goods, roughly 20KG - 40KG.
• Need to work on Saturday, Sunday, public holidays, and overtime when required.
• Able to work rotating shifts and overtime.

Working Location: WHOLESALE CENTRE

Requirement:

• At least 5 Year(s) of working experience and have experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Must possess at least higher Education/ Diploma in any field.
• Strong leadership skills and management competencies.
• Strategic & critical thinking as well as decision-making and negotiation skills.
• Able to adapt, prioritize, exercise initiative, manage pressure, multi task and work independently.
• Excellent organizational and coordination skills, including communication and interpersonal skills to deal with a diverse spectrum of people.
