Job summary

GLOBAL CONNECTION MANPOWER PTE. LTD. seeks an Assistant Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse and wholesale operations for fresh and frozen fruits and vegetables at the Wholesale Centre in Singapore.

You will lead a team, monitor receiving, packing, storage, and delivery, and ensure product quality and safety standards are met. The role requires 5+ years of experience, a diploma or higher education, and strong leadership, organizational, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse and wholesale operations for fruits and vegetables.
• Monitor receiving, sorting, packing, storage and delivery processes for quality and efficiency.
• Ensure proper handling and storage according to food safety standards.
• Assist in stock inventory management, rotations and replenishment.
• Coordinate with suppliers, drivers and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries.
• Train and guide workers to improve productivity and teamwork.
• Perform regular checks on warehouse equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the workplace.
• Assist in preparing operational reports and identifying areas for improvement.
