Job Purpose

1. To support the growth of Del Monte Asia's international business through distributor management, business development, market analysis and commercial planning.
2. To manage assigned ASEAN markets, identify growth opportunities, support marketing execution and provide commercial insights to improve sales performance and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Distributor Management

• Manage assigned markets, including E. Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Brunei, under the supervision of the Regional Manager, Sales & Marketing.
• Support sales & marketing activities in W. Malaysia.
• Develop and maintain relationships with distributors and key business partners.
• Monitor sales performance, distributors' KPIs, forecasts and inventory, and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct regular distributor business reviews.

2. Business Development

• Identify new business opportunities, channels, customers and route-to-market options.
• Evaluate potential distributors and support new market and category development.
• Prepare business cases and commercial recommendations for growth projects.

3. Commercial Analysis

• Analyse sales, market, category and competitor data.
• Support demand forecasting, profitability analysis, pricing evaluation and management reporting.
• Provide actionable commercial insights to Management and Sales & Marketing team.

4. Marketing, Advertising & Promotion (A&P) and Listing Support

• Support the execution and evaluation of marketing activities with distributors and internal stakeholders.
• Assess A&P effectiveness and return on investment.
• Support product listing opportunities and evaluate listing fee proposals from a commercial perspective.
• Support digital marketing planning and execution.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Sales Planning, Operations, Supply Chain, R&D, and Finance.
• Support new product launches and commercialisation projects.
• Participate in annual planning and strategic business projects.

Requirements

• 8-10 years relevant working experience in FMCG, brand owner, retail, category management, trade marketing, business management or commercial management.
• Experience working with distributors and international markets is preferred.
• Strong analytical, commercial, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to develop business cases and translate market data into practical actions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to travel
