Job summary

GMP Technologies is seeking an Assistant QC Chemist on a 1 year contract at Jurong Island. The role focuses on hands-on analyses to support instrument setup in the QC laboratory, method validation, data review, and troubleshooting for instrument reliability.

The candidate should hold a chemistry Diploma/Degree and have 2+ years in lab functions, with knowledge of GC, HPLC, GPC, FTIR, titrators, OpenLab and LIMS, plus strong independent work and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Chemistry or equivalent.
• More than 2 years of working experience in laboratory related functions.
• Knowledge of laboratory operations and analytical instruments (GC, HPLC, GPC, FTIR, titrators).
• Familiarity with Openlab software and LIMS systems.
• Good analytical knowledge, able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct hands‑on analyses to support instrument set‑up in QC laboratory.
• Perform analytical method validation, review data and troubleshoot instrument reliability issues.
• Review and uphold Quality, Safety and training documents for ISO/IATF compliance.
• Follow laboratory safety guidelines and maintain housekeeping.
• Collaborate with team members to complete tasks on time and accurately.
• Perform other tasks assigned by Asst QC Manager/Supervisor.
