Job summary

GMP Technologies (S) Pte Ltd on Jurong Island is seeking a Shift Laboratory Technician to perform chemical and physical tests for quality control and product development.

You will operate GC, HPLC and other instruments, communicate results to operations, and troubleshoot issues while keeping records up to date. The role requires a Diploma in Chemistry and 1–2 years' experience, willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts on Jurong Island.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Chemistry or equivalent with 1–2 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience handling laboratory equipment such as GC, HPLC, UV spectrometer, AAS, and TOC-Analyzer.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work in a team.
• Willing to work on Jurong Island with 12-hour rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate laboratory equipment and instruments to perform tests for quality and process control.
• Communicate results to operations personnel.
• Troubleshoot non-conforming data and instrument issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance and update documentation as required.
