Job summary

GMP Technologies on Jurong Island is seeking a QC Shift Technician to perform quality inspections on raw materials, intermediates and final products, and to collect on-site samples.

The role requires a Higher NITEC / Diploma in Chemical Process Technology, 1–2 years of lab testing experience, and a positive, eager-to-learn attitude. A 12-hour rotating shift is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in chemistry laboratory testing environment.
• Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Willing to work on Jurong Island.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality inspection on raw materials, intermediate and final products.
• Collect periodic samples on site.
• Calibrate and maintain quality test equipment per schedule.
• Comply with test methods in quality inspection.
• Prepare standards and reagents.
• Report abnormalities to QAQC HOD & Production Shift SV.
• Inventory monitoring of laboratory chemicals and consumables.
• Basic 5S, housekeeping of the laboratory.
• Report to QAQC HOD & Production Shift SV.

Requirements:

• Preferred 1-2 years relevant experience in chemistry laboratory testing environment
• Positive attitude and willing to learn
• Willing to work in Jurong Island
• Able to commit 12 hours rotating shift
